Another exciting week of college football is in the books, and FOX Sports analyst Joel Klatt had made adjustments to his top 10 rankings. Plenty of wild games and upsets have shaken up the landscape once again, and we still have a long way to go until December.

Below is the full top 10 rankings from Klatt, listed 10-1.

Joel Klatt top 10 rankings after Week 8

10. Iowa: The Hawkeyes suffered an embarrassing 24-7 loss to Purdue in Week 7, and had a bye this past week. They still have the 12th-best defense in the country in yards allowed and will look to bounce back against Wisconsin on Saturday.

9. Ole Miss: Don’t look now, but Lane Kiffin and the Rebels are on a three-game winning streak following a loss to Alabama. Most of the games left on the schedule are winnable for this prolific offense, and a New Year’s Six bowl appearance is definitely within reach.

8. Cincinnati: Just how good is Cincinnati? The Bearcats remain undefeated after escaping Navy by score of 27-20 this past week, prompting that question. Quarterback Desmond Ridder has already thrown for 1,620 yards and accumulated 18 total touchdowns.

7. Oregon: The Ducks notched a victory against Ohio State earlier this season, and look like the frontrunner to win the Pac-12. That likely won’t get them to the Playoff, however, as they suffered an upset against Stanford in Week 5.

6. Michigan State: This week will be telling for a Spartans team that is undefeated but has yet to face many challenging opponents. They clash with fellow unbeaten Michigan on the road Saturday in a pivotal game for the Big Ten East division.

5. Oklahoma: The Sooners have made it through the first eight games without a loss, but there have been several close calls. They entered halftime this past week down 10-0 to Kansas, a team that has won a combined two Big 12 games in the last five seasons.

4. Michigan: It’s so far been Jim Harbaugh’s best season in Ann Arbor, as a top-15 defense has kept the Wolverines undefeated. He’s done enough to save his job after entering the year on the hot seat, but still has tests against Michigan State, Penn State and Ohio State.

3. Alabama: The sky was falling in Tuscaloosa after a loss to Texas A&M in Week 6, but Nick Saban quickly turned things around. The Crimson Tide won by at least four touchdowns in each of the past two weeks, and look on their way to another Playoff appearance.

2. Ohio State: The Buckeyes have been phenomenal over the past five weeks, with an average margin of victory of 41.6 points. True freshman running back TreVeyon Henderson, along with first-year starting quarterback CJ Stroud, lead the most dangerous offensive attack in the Big Ten.

1. Georgia: The Bulldogs are allowing just 6.6 points per contest, which is nearly eight less than the second-best team in FBS. They appear to be the favorite to win the SEC and national championship as of now. Their schedule is also devoid of any more currently ranked teams this year.
