Full list of SEC early entrants for 2022 NBA Draft
As the deadline for early entrants to enter their name in the 2022 NBA Draft has come and gone, the field of available players has now taken shape with big names from the SEC to international leagues. Although new NIL legislation and the transfer portal led some prospects back to school for another year, many still opted to test the professional waters.
While some of these athletes retained their college eligibility and will be given the option to return to school for another season before the June deadline, others have foregone that with their eyes set on playing in the NBA.
The SEC brings multiple highly touted prospects into the 2022 NBA Draft, including Auburn freshman Jabari Smith, Tennessee freshman Kennedy Chandler, as well as Kentucky freshmen Shaedon Sharpe and TyTy Washington.

Auburn and Kentucky lead the way in the SEC with four early entrants each. They are followed by a large group with three entrants, including Alabama, Arkansas, LSU and Tennessee. Florida, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt each had one entry from a veteran player.
While it remains to be seen how many withdraw or how many go in the first round, the conference stands out as one of the most talented from the last season thanks to these players who now look to show off their skills at the next level.
