Just two weeks before the 14 Big Ten teams converge on Indianapolis for the league’s annual media days, the conference announced which players will be in attendance. All told, 42 players — three from each of the 14 teams — will be at Lucas Oil Stadium for the event.

Big Ten Media Days will run from July 26-27 in Indianapolis as fans hear from coaches and players to unofficially kick off the 2023 season. Of course, one attendee is still yet to be determined after Northwestern announced the firing of Pat Fitzgerald earlier this week in light of hazing allegations within the program. The Wildcats currently don’t have a coach listed on the attendees for media days, but have a podium slot on the opening day at 11:45 p.m. ET.

This, of course, will also be the first media days for Big Ten commissioner Tony Petitti. He took over for Kevin Warren earlier this year after he became the new president of the Chicago Bears. In addition, four programs — Northwestern, Nebraska, Purdue and Wisconsin — underwent coaching changes and will have some new faces at the podium as the press conferences get underway.
