Top schools have emerged for Warrington (Pa.) LaSalle College four-star quarterback Gavin Sidwar.

The 6-foot-3, 175-pounder tells On3 that he’s down to five programs: Ole Miss, Missouri, Syracuse, UCLA and Iowa. Sidwar decommitted from Rutgers in October.

Sidwar is the No. 292 overall prospect and No. 19 QB in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 8 player in Pennsylvania.

On3 ranks the blue-chipper higher than other recruiting services. He ranks as the No. 192 recruit, No. 15 QB and No. 5 player in the Keystone State, per the On300.

After landing a scholarship from Mizzou offensive coordinator Kirby Moore in January, Sidwar set a spring visit to Columbia for March 18. The Tigers signed elite four-star QB Matt Zollers last cycle and are aiming to land another top arm this time around.

When speaking with On3’s Steve Wiltfong earlier this month, Sidwar mentioned that Syracuse is a program that’s been in the picture for over a year now. The Orange also intrigue the signal-caller.

“Syracuse said to come up any time I want,” Sidwar said. “I’ll get up there. They just opened a new football facility so I want to see it.

As a junior, Sidwar broke multiple school records at LaSalle, throwing for 2,747 passing yards on 220 completions. LaSalle finished the season with a 10-1 record and ranked as the No. 33 team in the nation and No. 2 team in Pennsylvania, per the On3 Composite.

Sidwar is currently the eighth highest-ranked uncommitted QB in the cycle, per the On3 Industry Ranking. He’s now one step closer to making his commitment again.
