Georgia CB Julian Humphrey signs with Texas A&M
Georgia cornerback Julian Humphrey has signed with Texas A&M, On3 has learned. The No. 2 cornerback in the transfer portal, according to On3’s Transfer Portal Rankings, Humphrey spent the weekend in College Station.
Other schools in the mix for the former top-100 recruit included SMU, Florida State, Texas and Oregon but the Aggies were able to close the commitment on the visit to College Station.
Humphrey finished his redshirt sophomore season with 10 total tackles and four pass breakups, starting 10 games for the Bulldogs. He finished his Georgia career with 21 tackles and five pass breakups. Humphrey entered the transfer portal after the 2023 season but ultimately decided to remain in Athens for another season.
Humphrey’s commitment marks one of the first of a stacked recruiting weekend, which hosted top portal wide receivers Nic Anderson (Oklahoma) and Mario Craver (Mississippi State).

Georgia is still in the midst of a College Football Playoff run, but Humphrey is not expected to be a part of it. The Bulldogs will play the winner of Notre Dame and Indiana in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 1.
“I’m worried about my team,” Georgia head coach Kirby Smart said recently when asked about Humphrey’s departure. “I mean, I’ve learned in this thing that you worry about the players that are with you, not the ones that aren’t.
