Georgia fans boo Kentucky cheerleaders while posing for photo with Uga XI
You might think the back-to-back national champions would be the star of the show at their own home stadium. Unfortunately, you would be wrong. When people travel to Sanford Stadium to face off against Georgia, everyone wants to get on the field and see Uga — even the opposing team’s cheerleaders.
Kentucky is in Athens for what could prove to be a monumental game for the SEC East. The Wildcat cheerleaders made their way over to the Georgia sideline and decided to gather around Uga XI’s house for a photo. A moment many of them will not forget, being one of the coolest live mascots in college football.
Well, the Georgia fans did not appreciate the Kentucky cheer squad being around Uga. They decided to boo them while the photo was being taken. UGA has their student section sitting right behind the mascot and the noise was certainly heard.

Uga is no stranger to having a pregame visitor but this one is a bit more friendly. Thankfully, there were no attacks or a scramble to make sure everyone was okay. For the most part, the interaction was a harmless one and a simple photo for the Kentucky cheerleaders to look back on in the coming years.
That does not mean Georgia fans are going to sit back and not protect their mascot. Seeing the opposition play nice is never fun, especially in an important SEC game. Kirby Smart knows the type of intensity brought into the stadium during a night game and this kind of moment just adds to the atmosphere.

Georgia, Kentucky set for monster SEC East battle
With how things have shaken out thus far in the SEC East, Saturday’s game Between Georgia and Kentucky is an important matchup. A win for the Wildcats would instantly change the division’s landscape as the favorites would be playing from behind. But if Smart is able to take down Mark Stoops another time, the Dawgs could continue to roll.
You have to go back to the 2009 season to find the last time Kentucky was able to take down Georgia in Athens. In fact, it’s been all Bulldogs over the past decade-plus, winning 13 straight games. Recent matchups have not been close either as most have been decided by double digits.
Kentucky will not be worried about any kind of history, though — Saturday’s matchup will be the concern.
