Georgia has had their eye on Rasean Dinkins for some time. After hosting him on campus multiple times in the summer, the Bulldogs offered the safety out of Warner Robins (Ga.) in September.

Dinkins was back in Athens for the Mississippi State game and after seeing the environment between the hedges and building relationships with the staff, he decided he wanted to be a Bulldog.

The 5-foot-10.5, 185-pound has flipped his commitment from Georgia Tech to Georgia.

“I have been to Georgia three times and the atmosphere is just different,” Dinkins told On3. “The fan base is great and the atmosphere is unmatched.”

When he got the offer from Georgia in September, Dinkins talked about how he had been dreaming of getting an offer from a program like Georgia. Travaris Robinson recruited him hard over the last month and he can now call himself a Georgia commit.

“The way Georgia operates their program is unmatched. I have visited multiple times and they are always working to get better. Even during the game, they want to fix things and improve. The staff and the team are just different at Georgia.”

Dinkins is commitment No. 23 for Georgia this cycle. He joins his teammate, five-star EDGE Isaiah Gibson on the commitment list. Georgia hopes to add Five-Star Plus+ defensive lineman Elijah Griffin later this week when he announces his commitment.

“I love the culture of Georgia and the way they develop their players,” Dinkins said. “The program produces a lot of dawgs and sends tremendous numbers to the league every year.”
