2026 WR Brady Marchese commits to Georgia

Cartersville (Ga.) wide receiver Brady Marchese has committed to Georgia, according to On3’s Chad Simmons and Hayes Fawcett.
He pledged to the in-state Bulldogs while also holding offers from around 25 other Power Four programs, including the likes of Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Florida State, Auburn and Penn State.
Marchese landed an offer from UGA in February and the SEC powerhouse quickly vaulted up his list of top schools. With wide receivers coach James Coley in pursuit, the 6-foot-1, 185-pounder is now in the boat for the Dawgs following a visit the weekend of March 14.
“It was kind of unbelievable, I couldn’t really believe it,” Marchese told DawgsHQ about receiving his offer in January. “It meant a lot to me being a Georgia boy and having that happen to me meant a lot.”

A key part of Cartersville’s offense in 2024, Marchese caught 44 passes for a whopping 1,051 yards and 11 touchdowns, per MaxPreps. The Purple Hurricanes won 12 games and finished as the No. 20 team in the Peach State, according to the On3 Composite Rankings.
Marchese is the second receiver commit for UGA in its 2026 class, flanking Tustin (Calif.) Mission Viejo four-star Vance Spafford, the No. 66 recruit and No. 9 WR in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Georgia has now added another in-state pledge to its class, as Marchese joins Jonesboro four-star cornerback Jontavious Wyman and McEachern Powder Springs JUCO defensive lineman Seven Cloud.
