Few football programs have been recruiting at the level Georgia has over the past half-decade, as the Bulldogs have claimed the No. 1 class multiple times since 2019. And if they don’t have the top-ranked class, they’re not far behind.

In fact, since 2016 UGA has never finished outside the top 3 of the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. And the 2026 cycle is expected to be more of the same. Despite a slower than normal start in terms of sheer commitments, the Bulldogs still hold the No. 7 class nationally with only eight players currently in their class.

Unsurprisingly, they are — and will continue to be — involved with some of the nation’s best in 2026. On3 VP of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong broke down the latest on UGA’s top remaining targets earlier this week. That comes after Kirby Smart and Co. landed arguably the biggest priority in the class for them: Nashville Christian (Tenn.) five-star quarterback Jared Curtis.

As a junior, Curtis completed over 70 percent of his passes for 2,830 yards and 40 touchdowns to just three interceptions. He added another 637 yards rushing and 18 more scores. He is the highest-rated passer to commit to UGA since Matthew Stafford in 2006, a player who Georgia fans would love to see Curtis emulate in his career.

Alongside their quarterback and centerpiece of the class, Georgia has seven other pledges. Four project to play on the offensive side of the ball at the next level, while the other three are expected to be part of UGA’s elite defensive system.

Of the eight commits, four hail from the Peach State: IOL Graham Houston, WR Brady Marchese, safety Kealan Jones, and defensive lineman Seven Cloud. And six of the eight rank as blue-chip prospects.
