Georgia offers California 4-star QB commit Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele
The recruitment of Ewa Beach (Hi.) James Campbell four-star quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele has taken off this fall as the left-hander continues to rack up offers.
The current California commit picked up potentially his biggest offer yet on Monday. The 6-foot-1.5, 215-pounder announced that he’s received an offer from Georgia.
“All glory to God. I have just been offered by the University of Georgia. Mahalo for believing in me,” Sagapolutele wrote on X.
Last month, Sagapolutele announced an offer from Oregon. The Ducks were instantly viewed as a contender to pull him away from his pledge to the Golden Bears and the Bulldogs will now likely be in the same category.
Georgia already has a QB commit in its 2025 class in Findlay (Ohio) four-star Ryan Montgomery, the nation’s No. 120 overall prospect and No. 11 QB in the 2025 cycle. Head coach Kirby Smart, Mike Bobo and Co. could be after another signal-caller to add to their top-three recruiting class, however.

Sagapolutele is the No. 185 overall recruit and No. 15 QB in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the top-ranked player in Hawaii.
Through the first seven games in his senior season, the lefty tallied over 2,200 yards through the air, leading to 38 touchdowns and just a pair of interceptions. His stock has continued to rise since impressing at the Elite 11 Finals in Los Angeles this summer. He was named a top performer following day one of the event by On3’s Charles Power.
“The Hawaii native flashed one of the stronger arms on hand, easily generating velocity on downfield and far hash throws. Sagapolutele was one of the co-winners of the Rail Shot challenge at the end of the workout along with Husan Longstreet, showing the ability to repeatedly drive the ball into a small windows downfield,” Power wrote.
Sagapolutele committed to Cal on July 8, choosing the new ACC program over Boise State, Oregon State and others. He’s currently the lone blue-chipper in the mix for head coach Justin Wilcox and Co, though keeping him in the class will prove to be a challenge with the likes of Oregon and UGA now giving him a closer look.
