Georgia offers elite Houston 2026 QB commit Keisean Henderson
Fresh off of great performances at the Navy All-American Bowl and Battle Miami 7v7, Houston Legacy SSS 2026 four-star quarterback Keisean Henderson has received a scholarship offer from the University of Georgia.
Henderson, a Houston commit, has been pledged to the hometown Cougars since May. Other offers include Auburn, LSU, Michigan, Oregon, Texas A&M and more.
Four prospects are currently committed to Georgia’s 2026 recruiting class: Tustin (Calif.) Mission Viejo top-100 wide receiver Vance Spafford, Jonesboro (Ga.) four-star cornerback Jontavius Wyman, Saline (Mich.) three-star tight end Lincoln Keyes and Powder Springs (Ga.) McEachern defensive lineman Seven Cloud.
Henderson still strong with UH
Last weekend at Battle Miami, Henderson spoke with On3’s Steve Wiltfong about the status of his commitment to Houston.
“When I got the call from Coach Fritz after I went to the camp that he believed in me to play quarterback and nobody else had, that belief in me at the time made me feel I could run through a brick wall for him,” Henderson said. “Just the loyalty they’ve been having in me, by watching me go through this receiver stuff at 7on7 just knowing it was for fun and nothing that I really wanted to do. They just believe in me and that the narrative everyone else painted wasn’t a real narrative.”

On3 MVP at the Navy All-American Bowl
After a stellar week of practice and a standout performance in the Navy All-American Bowl, Henderson earned MVP honors from On3 earlier this month.
“Keisean Henderson showed why he’s considered one of the top athletes in the 2026 cycle during Saturday’s game. The Houston commit was able to showcase his full skill set in the live, 11-on-11 setting. Henderson made an excellent play midway through the second quarter, avoiding an interior pass rush, rolling to his left, and resetting before firing a well-thrown deep ball to SMU signee Jalen Cooper for a 91-yard touchdown. The play was a great example of Henderson’s high-upside ability behind center. He later showed touch and location for another downfield completion to Cooper.
“While currently ranked as an athlete, the rising senior looked the part as a passer all week. Henderson showed a strong arm and solid accuracy. He was particularly strong on Day 3 as he further settled in with the West team wideouts. Henderson also flashed his high-end mobility and play-making skills on Saturday picking up yards with his legs and presenting a threat in the option run game. Henderson should be considered one of the more intriguing quarterback prospects in the 2026 cycle, given what he showed in San Antonio.” – On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power
