4-star IOL Justin Hasenhuetl decommits from Georgia Tech
Rabun Gap (Ga.) Nacoochee four-star interior offensive lineman Justin Hasenhuetl has decommitted from Georgia Tech, according to multiple reports.
He was pledged to the Yellow Jackets since April 11, but is now back on the board with National Signing Day just three days away.
Hasenhuetl is the No. 396 overall prospect and No. 31 IOL in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 52 player in Georgia.
Brent Key and the Yellow Jackets picked up an offensive line commitment earlier on Sunday, as four-star Peyton Joseph flipped from Florida State. Just a few hours later, Hasenhuetl is now out of the mix in Atlanta.
Georgia Tech’s class still features 24 commitments and ranks No. 19 in the nation, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. That’s good for No. 2 in the ACC, behind only Miami.

More on Georgia Tech Recruiting
With Hasenhuetl no longer in the class, GT now has six O-line prospects in its 2025 class. Roswell (Ga.) Fellowship Christian four-star interior offensive lineman Josh Petty continues to headline things as the No. 42 prospect and No. 3 IOL in the nation.
Cedartown (Ga.) four-star safety Tae Harris flipped from Clemson on Nov. 23 and is the nation’s No. 53 recruit and No. 3 safety this cycle. Relationships with the GT coaching staff made a big difference for the four-star.
“Georgia Tech has a great staff,” Harris told On3. “Coach Peoples, coach Eley (Donald Hill-Eley), coach Santucci and coach Key are all my guys. They have my back and coach Key is turning the program, so don’t be surprised by that in the future.”
The class is littered with in-state talent. Top Peach State pledges alongside Petty and Harris include Bogart (Ga.) Prince Avenue Christian four-star defensive lineman Christian Garrett, Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek four-star cornerback Dalen Penson and Duluth (Ga.) four-star offensive tackle Damola Ajidahun.
