Heisman Trophy odds updated ahead of Week 13 of college football with new favorite
The latest Heisman Trophy odds were updated ahead of Week 13 of the college football regular season and there’s a new favorite.
Not only is there a favorite, but this new leader in the clubhouse doesn’t even have plus money. So is the race over? Not necessarily, but it feels close.
Let’s dive into the latest Heisman Trophy odds, according to Bet MGM.
Jayden Daniels, QB – LSU (-130)
Daniels was responsible for eight touchdowns himself last weekend. Simply put, the kid is absurd and is playing himself higher and higher in the NFL Draft.
While LSU has three losses, it’s hard to ignore how great Daniels has been this season. This year, he has 3,577 yards, 36 touchdowns, four interceptions, a 72.6% completion percentage, 1,014 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns.
Bo Nix, QB – Oregon (+140)
Nix was the favorite at one point and make no mistake, the Oregon quarterback is awesome. He’s having the best year of his career.
He has the second shortest odds, but Daniels is just on another level right now. This year, Nix has 3,539 yards, 35 touchdowns, two interceptions, a 78.1% completion percentage, 128 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns.
Michael Penix Jr., QB – Washington (+600)
Penix Jr. was the guy for a long time this season. However, the Huskies quarterback hasn’t measured up to Daniels or Nix during this last month of the season.
That’s not to say he hasn’t been impressive. Penix Jr. was absolutely clutch in the win over Oregon State on the road and in the rain. This year, he has 3,695 yards, 30 touchdowns, seven interceptions, a 66.5% completion percentage and three rushing touchdowns.
Marvin Harrison Jr., WR – Ohio State (+3,000)
Once again, the first and only non-quarterback on the list that has a realistic shot. Perhaps an invite to New York is at least in the cards for Harrison Jr.
There’s no question he’s been the key to the Ohio State offense this year. Without Harrison Jr., the Buckeyes would not look the same. This year, he has 62 catches for 1,093 yards 13 touchdowns and 17.6 yards per catch.

Carson Beck, QB – Georgia (+3,300)
Beck low key played really well all season long and didn’t quite get the recognition as other quarterbacks this season. At first, people had questions about the Georgia quarterback.
This is definitely a guy that can help lead the Bulldogs to the team’s third straight national title. This year, Beck has 3,320 yards, 21 touchdowns, five interceptions and a 72.9% completion percentage.
Jalen Milroe, QB – Alabama (+12,500)
Finally, Milroe made the cut for the guys who still have some sort of shot. However, it’s a longshot. Things would have to drastically change over the next two weeks, but maybe there’s an invite.
But there’s no doubt Milroe’s been impressive this season once he got things going after the first month of the season. This year, Milroe has 2,267 yards, 19 touchdowns, six interceptions, a 66.4% completion percentage, 332 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns.
Remaining Heisman contenders
Caleb Williams, QB – USC (+25,000)
Ollie Gordon, RB – Oklahoma State (+25,000)
Blake Corum, RB – Michigan (+25,000)
Kyle McCord, QB – Ohio State (+25,000)
J.J. McCarthy, QB – Michigan (+25,000)
Once you get past Milroe, the rest of the field is a bunch of longshots, barring something unforeseen. But it looks like we have our top contenders, which are the top three for the Heisman.
