July had its fair share of high-profile commitments and now that August is here, that’s not slowing down anytime soon. With several prospects set to make their college decisions this month, the first week of the month is going to be as busy as any.

Three high-caliber recruits are set to make their college decisions this weekend and will do so on the On3 Youtube Channel. Buford (Ga.) Five-Star Plus+ safety KJ Bolden and Chattanooga (Tenn.) Baylor School four-star wide receiver Amari Jefferson will announce their decisions on Aug. 5. On Aug. 6, Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei four-star running back Nate Frazier will announce his decision.

Jefferson will kick things off on Saturday with his decision coming at 4:15 p.m. ET. He is set to choose between Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee.

Three hours after Jefferson, Bolden will make his announcement at 7:30 p.m. ET. choosing between and is set to choose between Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia and Ohio State.

On Sunday Frazier will announce his decision at 3 p.m. ET. Frazier’s final four schools include Alabama, Georgia, Oregon and Texas A&M.

Jefferson is No. 103 player in the 2024 On300 and No. 19 wide receiver. Bolden is the No. 8 player in the class and the top safety in the cycle.

Frazier is ranked as the No. 45 player in the On3 Industry Ranking and No. 2 running back. However, On3 ranks him much higher in the On300 as he is a five-star prospect, the No. 15 overall recruit and No. 1 running back.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Georgia is trending for both Bolden and Frazier. The Bulldogs sit with a commanding lead at 91.8% with Frazier while its much closer for Bolden at 44% and Florida State sitting in second at 30%.

Tennessee is currently trending as the favorite for Jefferson in the RPM. The Vols have a 38% chance to land his pledge while Alabama sits at 25.9% and Georgia at 19.1%.

The latest on intel on each

On the July 21st edition of the Simmons Scoop, On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons provided his latest intel on each of the three.

Amari Jefferson: Amari Jefferson is set to announce his decision on Aug. 5 and Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee are his finalists. This one is expected to come down to the Crimson Tide and the Vols. Again, like a few others on this list, Jefferson has both Alabama and Tennessee feeling optimistic about their chances. The two-sport star out of Chattanooga (Tenn.) Baylor is committed to Tennessee to play baseball. There has been a little more buzz on my side about Alabama for much of the spring and summer, but this one has tightened up a little more after the official visits last month. Heavy talks with the staffs in Tuscaloosa and Knoxville on ongoing.

KJ Bolden: Aug. 5 is right around the corner, and it will be a busy day with multiple recruits planning to announce their commitments. KJ Bolden is one. At different times, there is a different school picking up steam. Florida State was a hot school recently. Auburn is another one that comes up often, and Bolden still plans to be on the Plains next weekend. It sounds like it could be a multi-day visit if things go as planned. The most consistent schools still are Georgia and Ohio State. Those two have been battling in this race for some time. Then Alabama is still lurking. Bolden’s decision likely comes down to the wire as we close in on Aug. 5, then schools will continue to battle for him until he signs.

Nate Frazier: Nothing has changed here. As I noted in the past, Georgia is the team others are chasing for Nathaniel Frazier. Alabama made a push. Oregon has always been in this too, but the Bulldogs since getting Frazier on campus the first half of June have been trending. I have heard nothing to change my feelings about that.
