Indiana buzzing with 2025 TE Cameron Roberts, who is also garnering Miami, Florida State interest
The offers are beginning to pile up for 2025 Florida tight end Cameron Roberts, whose terrific junior season at Opa Locka (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas is beginning to pay dividends.
Offers have continued to flow in for the 6-foot-4, 205-pound Roberts, who is also garnering a lot of interest from colleges swinging by his high school the past few weeks.
Roberts has collected scholarship overtures from Temple, FIU, Tulane and Indiana, and in-state schools like Miami and Florida State have shown a ton of interest early on.
“It’s been a blessing and something I’ve been working toward since my freshman year,” Roberts told On3. “I finally got the opportunity and I took it.”
New Tulane HC Jon Sumrall was among the first to offer Roberts.
“That was shocking,” he said. “I was in practice and my coach texted me that I got the offer. They all started following me, and it all took off from there.”
Roberts likes his fit in the Big Ten at a place like Indiana.
“They’ve been telling me that they’re waiting for me to come out there and take a visit,” Roberts smiled. “I’m ready.”

Members of the Miami and the Florida State coaching staffs have been by South Florida powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas building rapport with the big-framed pass-catcher.
“I like how Florida State moves the ball and uses their big targets,” Roberts said. “The coaches from Florida State were by this week, and they want me to come and see me in the spring, and said I need to come out there.”
Similarly, Miami’s Mario Cristobal, Kevin Beard and Cody Woodiel were by the school. The Canes are keeping a close eye on Roberts.
“I’ve talked with Coach Cristobal and the coaches came by the school to talk to me, and they want to see me in the spring,” he remarked.
