Interest heating up for No. 1 JUCO RB Waymond Jordan
Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College running back Waymond Jordan is in the midst of a strong second season at the junior college level, and teams are beginning to take notice.
According to On3’s Pete Nakos, Arizona State, UCF, Ohio State, Duke and Auburn are among the school that have been in contact with the 5-foot-10, 200-pounder.
He has also locked in an official visit with the Knights for November 29.
Originally from Pensacola, Florida, Jordan has amassed more than 1,300 yards and 18 rushing touchdowns this year while averaging better than 7.5 yards per carry. He was lightly recruited out of Escambia High School in the 2022 class. He had several FCS and Division II offers, but opted to go the JUCO route.
After redshirting his first season, he played as a reserve in 2023 but has broken onto the scene this year.
