InterMat College Wrestling Individual Rankings updated after Week 7
The InterMat college wrestling individual rankings were updated after Week 7 of action and the collegiate duals early this week.
The lightweights were once again shaken up after another week of wrestling. The upperweights had some mild changes, but more or less, stayed the same.
Let’s dive into the latest top 10 of each weight class as we head into the holiday break and get closer to conference duals.
125 pounds
1. Anthony Noto – Lock Haven (2)
2. Noah Surtin – Missouri (12)
3. Dean Peterson – Rutgers (7)
4. Caleb Smith – Nebraska (8)
5. Matt Ramos – Purdue (9)
6. Michael DeAugustino – Michigan (6)
7. Jore Volk – Wyoming (16)
8. Richie Figueroa – Arizona State (3)
9. Eric Barnett – Wisconsin (10)
10. Cooper Flynn – Virginia Tech (NR)
We have a new No. 1 wrestler once again after more madness at 125. Surtin went all the way up to No. 2 after being outside the top 10 while others moved steadily up the poll. Flynn wasn’t ranked but made his debut by beating Jakob Camacho.

Latona moved up to No. 5 so he’s a new addition to the top half of the rankings. Bailey moves into the top 10 and is 9-1 as a freshman for Little Rock. He was No. 21 last week.

Let’s take a breather here as 141 did not have any changes this week. Mendez looks great for Ohio State, sporting a 14-1 record. Woods and Bartlett are still undefeated and a combined 13-0.

The top eight stayed the same this week with just one flip, but Gomez made his rankings debut, despite not wrestling yet. Gomez officially joined the Michigan roster for his final year of eligibility. He’s an immediate national title threat.

Cardenas and Andonian flipped spots here, otherwise there were not any other changes this week. Robb is 13-0 this season in his comeback from a life threatening infection after the 2023 NCAA Tournament.

We’re cruising now as 174 did not see any changes within the top 10. Keep an eye on McCoy, who’s 5-0 this year for Virginia and is probably flying under the radar. Wittlake is 11-2 and on a tear for Oregon State.

Fishback was the guy of the week in this weight class, moving up 10 spots to get into the top five at 184. Feldkamp fell to No. 10 as he’s now 6-4 on the season. Keckeisen is just a menace right now, sporting a 13-0 record.
