Lee’s Summit (Mo.) North three-star defensive lineman Ka’Mori Moore has committed to Iowa State.

He chose the Cyclones following his decommitment from Oklahoma on Sept. 25.

Moore is the No. 805 overall prospect and No. 79 DL in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 12 player in Missouri.

“I am blessed to be committed to the University of Iowa State. Thank you to everyone who has been with me since the start,” Moore wrote on X announcing his commitment.

The 6-foot-0.5, 300-pounder visited Ames last month for ISU’s win over UCF. He now becomes commitment No. 19 for Matt Campbell and the Cyclones this cycle. Moore also held offers from the likes of Nebraska and Michigan State.

More on Iowa State Recruiting

After signing the nation’s No. 57 recruiting class last cycle, Iowa State currently checks in with the No. 59 class in 2025, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. That’s still good for No. 12 in the Big 12, ahead of Cincinnati, BYU, Kansas and Colorado.

Algona (Iowa) four-star quarterback Alex Manske is the lone blue-chip commit in the class, though he’s a big one for Campbell and his staff. According to the On300, Manske is the No. 133 prospect and No. 12 QB in the senior class.

“Manske is a functional athlete with a quick arm. He’s able to generate considerable rotation throughout his upper body, which leads to the ability to deliver without having his feet set. We’ve seen the arm strength show up, as Manske has been able to attack all areas of the field,” On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power wrote of Manske. “He’s also a tough, nimble runner who’s a threat on scrambles and designed runs. We also see the Iowa State pledge line up on defense, showing his toughness and physicality.”

Moore becomes the second listed D-lineman to join the fold in Ames, flanking Middleburg (Fla.) three-star Bernard Carter. The class also includes a trio of EDGEs in Algona three-star Jack Limbaugh, Hamilton (Ohio) three-star Trey Verdon and De Soto (Kan.) three-star Charlie Woleben.
