Isaiah Bond, Andrew Mukuba injury update: Texas stars status updated on Wednesday report
Texas and Vanderbilt will play in a game that should have a surprising number of implications for both programs, with both teams ranked in the AP Top 25 entering the matchup. And the injury report will loom large.
Both have dealt with some significant injuries in the last few weeks, injuries that could help swing the outcome of Saturday’s game.
The good news for Texas is that it now has both starting quarterbacks Quinn Ewers and Arch Manning available after Ewers dealt with an oblique injury earlier in the season. Now, how Texas plans to play its quarterbacks could remain a mystery until gametime.
Vanderbilt, on the other hand, has mostly avoided any disastrous injuries, with most being either short-term knocks or to players who weren’t playing a major role.
In any case, you can view the injury report for both teams below.

Clark Lea breaks down unique situation
Vanderbilt coach Clark Lea is in a tough spot entering this week because of the Texas result a week ago. The Longhorns dropped their first game of the season, falling to Georgia.
That could leave the Commodores facing a pissed-off Longhorns bunch.
“I think you can take that and go either way with it,” Lea said on Tuesday. “When we’ve had a tough loss, the game at Missouri, there’s a world where that can be taken as heartbreaking, and how do you come back from that? How devastated is the locker room? Or you can take it and say the guys will be motivated, they’re so close, they’re going to keep inching towards that breakthrough.
“It can swing either way.”
Especially with a mostly clean injury report, Lea is anticipating getting the very good version of Texas on Saturday.
“My expectation is that they are going to come in here ready to play, and what we need to do in response is not match their energy, but set the tone and dictate the energy on our end, again, to be the best representation of our program we can be,” Lea said.
