The Jacksonville State Gamecocks summoned the magic in the final seconds against Louisiana Tech on Saturday night, as they threw an improbable 50-yard touchdown pass as time expired. The miraculous touchdown toss tied the game up at 37-37. The only bad part was, their kicker missed the extra point, sending the game into overtime.

Check out the pass from Tyler Huff, as he uncorks one from the 45-yard line for the game-tying score to receiver Cam Vaughn.

The good news is JSU ended up winning the game in overtime, giving Rich Rodriguez his sixth win of the year. That lands him $20,000 in bonuses–$10k apiece for his sixth win and a bowl appearance. The Gamecocks ended up winning 44-37, after Andrew Paul punched in the game-winner for overtime.

Jacksonville State is currently on a six-game winning streak, making them bowl eligible for the second straight season under Rich Rodriguez. Tyler Huff has completed 64.8% of his passes for 1,501 passing yards, while tossing in eight touchdowns with four interceptions. He’s also been sacked 10 times.
