4-star SF Jahki Howard sets commitment date, sets visit to UConn

Atlanta (Ga.) Overtime Elite four-star small forward Jahki Howard tells On3 he will announce his college decision on July 29th.
The 6-foot-6 junior does not have a final list of schools, but he holds offers from NC State, Arkansas, UConn, Georgetown, Florida State, Auburn and others.
Howard says he will take an official visit to UConn on June 20th. NC State recently hosted him for an unofficial visit. Howard also says he’s looking to schedule additional visits prior to his commitment date.

The Boston native is the No. 78 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Howard is currently averaging 16.9 points and 5.1 rebounds per game on the EYBL Circuit with New Heights Lightning. He plays alongside five-star point guard Elliot Cadeau (North Carolina), four-star combo guard Tahaad Pettiford (Auburn), and five-star shooting guard Meleek Thomas.
