Aledo (Texas) wide receiver Jalen Pope flipped to Oklahoma State from Air Force Sunday following his official visit to Stillwater. He was previously committed to the Falcons since Dec. 21.

Pope is not ranked in the 2023 On3 Consensus or the 2023 On300. He is 6-foot-0 and weighs 180 pounds.

The Lone Star State native is the 18th commit in the Cowboys’ 2023 recruiting class. He is also the second wideout pledge alongside Houston (Texas) Furr three-star Camron Heard.

Following Pope’s commitment, Oklahoma State’s group ranks No. 57 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings. The Cowboys’ class is also No. 11 in the Big 12.

Oklahoma State’s highest-ranked commit is Gretna (Neb.) three-star quarterback Zane Flores. The Nebraska native is the No. 23 signal-caller in the On300.

Pope has an On3 NIL Valuation of $5.8K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
