Jared Brown injury update: South Carolina WR's status vs. Texas A&M revealed on Friday report
Kickoff is just a day away for one of the most highly anticipated matchups in the SEC this weekend. As No. 10 ranked Texas A&M takes a visit over to Columbia to take on South Carolina in one of Saturday’s marquee matchups.
The Aggies have been rolling this year with seven straight wins and the top spot in the SEC rankings in their first season under head coach Mike Elko. But two of the Gamecocks’ three losses have been by three points or less. Playing in front of a hostile home crowd on Saturday behind a head coach who has been 6-2 in the month of November in the last two seasons with Shane Beamer.
The table is set for Saturday’s SEC showdown, but which players will have a seat at the table? As both teams deal with several injuries heading into this weekend’s matchup.
South Carolina got some players back to full heath during their bye week while Texas A&M will be missing a handful of impact players on the offensive line. Check out the official status of both team’s banged-up players on the official Friday injury report below.

Texas A&M
RB Rueben Owens — Out
DB Tyreek Chappell — Out
OL Mark Nabou Jr. — Out
OL Chase Bisontis — Out
WR Jahdae Walker — Out (1st half)
QB Jaylen Henderson — Questionable
South Carolina wide receiver Jared Brown remains probable for Saturday’s game after missing three total games with a lower-body injury. A Coastal Carolina transfer who can definitely contribute to the passing game after catching eight passes for 103 yards in his limited snaps this season.
“I would like to think he’s 100 (percent) this week,” Beamer said on Thursday. “He’s practiced every day this week and looks great. He’s been a big loss. He’s a guy who with the ball in his hands he’s able to do a lot of different stuff. We’ve missed him and certainly glad to have his playmaking ability back.”
