Jaren Woods, On300 No. 233, commits to Baylor
Jaren Woods, the No. 233-ranked prospect in the On300, is staying close to home for college.
The 6-foot-5, 270-pound two-way lineman announced his commitment to Baylor Monday afternoon via social media.
Woods commitment to the Bears comes on the heels of an official visit last weekend. The No. 39-ranked prospect in the state of Texas in the 2023 cycle made an official visit to Vanderbilt June 3-5, and considered an official to Auburn June 24-26.

The small town athletic lineman with a high-ceiling becomes the 14th commitment for the Bears Top 25 ranked class. The class is headlined by On3 Consensus 4-star quarterback Austin Novosad. Baylor is battling Ohio State to keep the 6-foot-3, 180-pounder in the fold.
Woods heads to Baylor as a defensive tackle that could project to offensive tackle long term. As a junior, he recorded 61 tackles, 22 solos, six tackles for loss, seven quarterback hurries and a sack.
