Jasen Green on why he chose Creighton
“First of all, I really like the coaches there,” Green said. “I feel like they can develop me as a player to be the best that I can. Another big reason is because of their play style. They are a real big run-and-gun team and my summer team and my high school team have been playing like that for as long as I can remember so I’ll fit into their offense perfectly. Another big reason is that it’s pretty close to home, only 20-25 minutes away. I have a lot of support from my hometown.”
Green, fresh off his visit to Creighton last weekend, says that trip really made the difference.
“On the visit, we were getting a presentation and coach was showing us clips of his team, and who I’d be like, and then he showed me clips from my highlights and some of the things that I do that would let me fit in perfectly with their offense, so that’s probably what did it.”
