Elite 2025 EDGE Javion Hilson flips from Alabama to Florida State
Four-star EDGE Javion Hilson of Cocoa (FL) High flipped his commitment from Alabama to Florida State Tuesday afternoon.
The 6-foot-5, 230 pounder committed to the Crimson Tide in December.
“I like the atmosphere and the fan base. My dad is a big Florida State fan and I grew up watching them and it’s close to home. I am a Florida boy and they’ve been recruiting me the heaviest ever since I committed to Alabama. Also, I can fit the best in their defense 4-2-5 as a true defensive end.”
The Sunshine State EDGE joins coach Mike Norvell and the Seminols’ top 10 2025 class. He is accompanied by four-star Solomon Thomas, Tramell Jones, and others.
