Jaxson Dart calls out Dylan Stewart over sack celebration, penalty
After recording his lone sack of Jaxson Dart during Saturday’s game, Dylan Stewart got flagged for a 15-yard penalty. During his celebration, Stewart appeared to act like he was shooting an imaginary gun at the quarterback, resulting in a flag.
Following Ole Miss’ 27-3 victory over South Carolina, Dart responded. He used a quote from a Young Dolph song to call Edwards out for the celebration.
Dart referenced the song “100 Shots,” which was a diss track by Young Dolph toward Yo Gotti. The title comes from an incident in Charlotte in which Gotti’s car was shot.
“How tf you miss a whole 100 shots,” Dart wrote on social media after Ole Miss completed the victory over South Carolina.
The play would’ve made it an Ole Miss fourth down, but the 15-yard penalty extended the drive. The Rebels eventually got a 44-yard field goal from Caden Davis to extend their lead to 27-3 over South Carolina as the fourth quarter approached.

It was Stewart’s third tackle of the day and his first sack. He continues to make an instant impact as a freshman on the South Carolina defense, entering Saturday second on the team in sacks.
Stewart arrived at South Carolina as the crown jewel of the Gamecocks’ 2024 recruiting class. He was a Five Star Plus+ prospect, meaning he was one of the only players ranked by all four major recruiting media companies as a five star. He was the No. 17 overall player from the cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Stewart continues to make his presence felt as a true freshman. While Jeremiah Smith and Ryan Williams get most of the attention, ESPN’s Dan Mullen previously raved about the way Stewart can impact games on defense.
“Well both receivers are dynamic playmakers, but Dylan Stewart is a game wrecker for the Gamecocks,” Mullen said. “Even though he only has 2.5 sacks and two forced fumbles on the year, he dominates the game. The pressures he causes on the quarterback, the attention he draws from the offense. You have got to know where he is and pay attention to him.”
