Florida State flips 4-star WR Jayvan Boggs from UCF
Cocoa (Fla.) four-star wide receiver Jayvan Boggs has flipped his commitment from UCF to Florida State.
Boggs was pledged to the Knights since Aug. 6, but is now set to follow new FSU offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn to Tallahassee. The 6-foot, 200-pound pass-catcher is also a former Ohio State and Missouri commit.
He is the No. 252 overall prospect and No. 34 WR in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 37 player in Florida.
Boggs had previously shown interest in the ACC program, as he picked up an offer from Mike Norvell and Co. in October. He took an official visit in November and is now in the fold, giving FSU another big recruiting win on National Signing Day.

As a senior for Cocoa, Boggs has caught 76 passes for 1,642 yards and 17 touchdowns in 12 games, according to MaxPreps. His stock has continued to rise on the field this fall. He’s now the third wideout in FSU’s 2025 class.
The Noles have been one of the biggest winners on National Signing Day to this point. Boggs’ commitment came moments after four-star running back Ousmane Kromah flipped from Georgia. Earlier today, three-star cornerback Shamar Arnoux flipped from Auburn. The class now features 18 commits and ranks No. 24 in the nation.
