On3 Industry five-star receiver Jerome Myles announced his commitment to USC on Wednesday afternoon.

The Draper (Utah) Corner Canyon blue-chipper chose the Trojans over his other finalists in Utah, Texas A&M, Ohio State and Georgia. He is the second five-star to join the fold alongside quarterback Julian Lewis.

“Definitely the staff made it a pretty easy pick,” Myles told On3. “They all have experience with NFL players and know how to develop them. Also the life outside of football is something different there. You can be successful in anything you choose.”

Future position coach Dennis Simmons was the lead recruiter for USC in the Myles sweepstakes.

“Culture and they do produce a lot of good receivers,” Myles has said. “I have a strong relationship with their receivers coach.”

Myles the latest dynamic receiver to verbal to USC

Ranked by the On3 Industry as the nation’s No. 5 receiver and No. 26 prospect overall, the 6-foot-3, 215-pound Myles has all the traits to be a special player for Lincoln Riley and his staff.

“Jerome Myles is arguably the most physically gifted pass catcher in the 2025 cycle,” On3’s Director of Scouting Charles Power said. “At 6-foot-3, 215-pounds with a state record 10.36 mark in the 100m dash, he has an elite combination of size and speed. I think most important he’s able to harness that speed on Friday nights.”

Myles is commit No. 20 for the Trojans in the 2025 cycle, the crown jewel of a terrific receiver haul that also includes On3 Industry four-stars Corey Simms and Tanook Hines along with dynamic On300 prospect Romero Ison.

“Myles is able to threaten defenses in multiple ways,” Power continued. “He can take the top off as a deep threat. Based on his senior film he is also extremely physical. A player that’s difficult to tackle, strong on contact and an outstanding blocker as well.

“When you look at what Jerome Myles brings to USC, he has the potential to be the best outside receiver talent in Los Angeles since Drake London who ended up being a Top 10 pick.”

Before going down with an injury, Myles was off to a fast start as a senior turning nine receptions into 246 yards and four touchdowns including blistering a star-studded IMG Academy secondary to the tune of five catches for 125 yards and three scores.

“His ball skills are strong,” Power said. “As he continues to hone his route running skills, the sky is the limit. Putting him in Lincoln Riley’s offense he’s going to be dangerous in the Big Ten.”

Trojans making a run at a Top 10 class

Myles took his official visit to USC the weekend of Sept. 9 where he saw the Trojans blow out Utah State 48-0. Now he’s part of the fold. And Riley and company aren’t slowing down.

The Trojans are working to flip a couple defensive backs in five-star Dorian Brew from Oregon and four-star Alex Graham from Colorado. USC looks like they’re the one to beat for former Oklahoma defensive line commit Floyd Boucard. Time will tell if USC takes another linebacker. They’re in a great spot for On300 prospect Madden Faraimo if they do. The Trojans offered South Carolina edge rusher commit Jaquavious Dodd on Tuesday and could receive a visit.

Perhaps the biggest fish still out there is On3’s current No. 1 prospect in the 2026 cycle in Jahkeem Stewart who is working to reclassify. USC is right at the top of the New Orleans product’s list as well.

Myles keeps USC’s momentum going. He is the second elite prospect to commit to the Trojans this month joining On3’s No. 1 ranked linebacker Ty Jackson. Here is where USC stands in the On3 Industry Rankings.
