Jizzle James, son of Edgerrin James, down to three schools

Orlando (Fla.) Olympia four-star recruit Jizzle James tells On3 he’s down to three schools: Cincinnati, Georgia, and LSU.
The 6-foot-2 point guard is the son of NFL Hall-of-Fame running back Edgerrin James. During his 11-year career, James earned four Pro Bowl selections and is the Indianapolis Colts’ all-time leader in career rushing yards, attempts, and touchdowns.
Jizzle James ranks as the No. 70 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, the average ranking from all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 14 overall point guard and the No. 8 player in the state of Florida.
Georgia is the only school to have hosted James officially. He will officially visit Cincinnati on September 23-25 and LSU on October 8-10.

Jizzle James breaks down finalists
Cincinnati: “The bond is great. They are a traditional basketball school. The coach loves my style and thinks I fit perfect and would let me play my game.”
Georgia: “I’m very familiar with their style. They want me to be the guy. I love the school, the support, and it felt really similar to home. I loved everything about it and checks all boxes.”
LSU: “I’m feeling the great energy from their staff. The way I could come up and be a next Ja Morant for coach (Matt) McMahon. They have a great system I would like to play in.”
