After a college football weekend that featured some gigantic upsets, FOX Sports’ Joel Klatt revealed his Top 10 teams in the nation. His list features a heavy presence from the Big Ten, with five teams from the conference making the list.

Joel Klatt’s Top 10:

1) Georgia Bulldogs

2) Iowa Hawkeyes

3) Cincinnati Bearcats

4) Oklahoma Sooners

5) Alabama Crimson Tide

6) Ohio State Buckeyes

7) Michigan Wolverines

8) Michigan State Spartans

9) Penn State Nittany Lions

10) Kentucky Wildcats

Big Ten Presence

Evidently, Klatt believes in the Big Ten conference. On his list, the FOX Sports’ analyst has the Iowa Hawkeyes as his second overall team. Additionally, he has Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State and Penn State on his list as well.

Iowa triumphed over Penn State this weekend, defeating the Nittany Lions inside a raucous Kinnick Stadium. While Penn State raced out to a 17-3 lead, they were defeated after quarterback Sean Clifford went down with an injury.

Ohio State continued their return into the good graces of the college football media, blowing out Maryland on Saturday. Their young stars shined bright during the game, as C.J. Stroud and TreVeyon Henderson led the Buckeyes offense to victory.

Finally, Michigan and Michigan State both stayed undefeated this weekend. The Wolverines survived the Cornhuskers in Nebraska, and the Spartans took care of business against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. When these two teams meet in two weeks, it could be one of the biggest games of the entire college football season.

Kentucky’s Meteoric Rise

Prior to the season, nobody expected Kentucky to be on any Top 10 lists — let alone Joel Klatt‘s top teams in the country. Alas, the Wildcats are proving to be one of the best teams in the country this season.

Coming off back to back impressive SEC wins, the Wildcats are putting themselves on the map. However, the face their toughest test yet this weekend when they travel to Athens to play Georgia.

A victory against Georgia could be a program-changer. The Wildcats had Waka Flocka Flame rush the field after a win against Florida — if they defeat Georgia, he may make a whole album about the team.
