Arkansas head coach John Calipari is scheduled to be at Warrenton (VA) Highland School today to watch Five-Star Plus+ small forward Nate Ament On3 is told.
Ament recently narrowed his list to a final 11 schools. Alabama, Arkansas, BYU, Duke, Georgetown, Kansas State, Kentucky, Louisville, Notre Dame, Tennessee, and Texas are the schools that made the list.
The Five-Star Plus+ wing took four official visits before the early signing period. Texas, Louisville, Notre Dame, and Tennessee got those visits. His fifth official visit was to Duke, earlier this month. There is still conversation around an official visit to Kentucky, which I am told has not been finalized yet.

Scouting Nate Ament from the Hoop Hall Classic
It was a featured game that put On3’s No. 3 ranked player in the 2025 cycle Nate Amentagainst Darryn Peterson, the No. 5 ranked player. While Peterson certainly got his due, it was Ament who walked away with the upset win after making a constant barrage of positive plays for his team.
Ament is a 6-foot-9 small forward. He is the tallest player on his Highland School team, but you can also oftentimes find him as the primary initiator or spot shooting floor spacer. What was so impressive about his performance in this game is the poise in which he played. While he was asked to make a lion’s share of the plays, he did not force anything. Ament soundly found advantages in the halfcourt whether that was going one-on-one or drawing the double team and passing away to the open man. It was truly a masterclass in taking what the defense gives and patiently making the right play.
He finished with 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists while going 5-11 from the field and 10-10 from the line.
