4-star PG Jonathan Sanderson updates recruitment, talks visits
Jonathan Sanderson, a 6-foot-2 point guard from Saline (MI) High School, came in at No. 66 in the updated 2026 On3 rankings.
“I’m a skilled sand mart point guard that can shoot it really well,” Sanderson told On3. “I also have sneaky bounce. When It comes to the mindset I think I’m one of the most hardworking players who are dedicated, and also a dog! Some of the players I study are Paul George, Steph Curry, and Lamelo Ball.”
On3 was able to catch up with four-star Jonathan Sanderson recently to talk about his recruitment.
“I have offers from Indiana, Michigan, Ohio State, Iowa, Illinois, Virginia, Purdue, and Notre Dame,” Sanderson said. “I’ve taken unofficial visits to all of those schools.”

NOTRE DAME: “The Notre Dame visit was a lot of fun, I never got to see how they play in person but I think I would fit well in Coach’s system.”
PURDUE: “Purdue has been fun to watch when I watch them on TV. The staff is really nice and they really like how I facilitate and score as a point guard.”
VIRGINIA: “When I went to Virginia it was a really cool experience, especially talking to the staff. I think within their system what they do well could help me within my game and my weaknesses.”
“Some schools that might be close to offerings are like Wisconsin and Northwestern,” Sanderson said.
