Jacksonville (Fla.) Westside four-star defensive lineman Jordan Hall has taken dozens of campus visits, including a handful of officials this fall. He’s made list cuts. And now he’s ready to make his commitment.

Hall told On3 that he will announce his decision during the Early Signing Period on December 22. Instead of signing on the first day like the majority of recruits will, Hall wanted to do something a little different.

There will be four schools in the mix: Florida, Georgia, LSU, Alabama. By the time he makes his choice, he’ll have taken all official visits to all four. But Hall already knows where his future home is.

“I’m locked in,” he said. I know where I’m going. But I’m not telling anybody where I’m going until that day. Just going to have the coaches send the NLI (national letter of intent) and then everybody will find out where I’m going at the same time.”

Each of the four finalists have made an impression in different ways, but Hall says one school stands out above the rest.

“It feels like home there. I feel like I can grow, be myself, and not have to worry about too much,” he added. “I don’t have to be ‘Big Baby.’ I’m just Jordan there. I feel I can grow and develop. On the D-line there, with the coaches, I feel like I’ll be one of the guys to be a first-round pick honestly.

… I know the coaching staff loves me, and I have a real good connection with the players. It wasn’t an easy process at all, probably one of the most draining and stressful things I’ve ever been through. Now that I’m locked in, it’s go time and I’m ready to work.”

The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) heavily favors Georgia to land the nation’s No. 29 overall prospect in the On300 rankings.
