Tennessee Baseball got to take part in the walkout with Morgan Wallen for the first of two concerts he is performing at Neyland Stadium. Tennessee Football has now gotten to do it tonight for the second show.

Josh Heupel, Nico Iamaleava, Bru McCoy, and Peyton Manning, who wore his former uniform for the occasion, came out with Wallen ahead of his second show on Rocky Top on Sunday. It makes for the perfect cap to the weekend for all those at Tennessee.

Wallen had announced these shows at Neyland back in mid-July. He did so as a way to celebrate the national championship that the baseball program won during the 2024 College World Series in June. Wallen was actually in attendance for that clinching game in Omaha.

Neyland Stadium then had to add a second show to the weekend due to the demand amongst the combined fanbase of his and the Vols. Wallen is just the fourth performing artist to have a show there with it being just the seventh-ever concert held. He is playing there alongside Ernest and also HARDY with Eric Church being a special guest for the first night.

Wallen is also just a big Volunteer fan after growing up in Sneedville, Tennessee, which is an hour and a half northeast of Knoxville.

On Saturday, Wallen walked out with the title-winning team along with Tony Vitello.

Now, on Sunday, Heupel, Manning, Iamaleava, and McCoy have joined him. Manning then took it to another level of excitement with him coming out of the locker room dressed in orange and white again after wearing #16 back in the mid-90s.

This comes a day after Tennessee won by a score of 25-15 in a Top-15 matchup on the road at Oklahoma. The Volunteers went to Norman and managed to outgain the Sooners by 123 yards, with most of that differential coming in rushing, while also forcing three turnovers in the 10-point win. For the team, it was a proven win for them to open conference play as they moved to No. 5 in the latest AP Poll. For the coach, though, it was maybe even more significant as it was Heupel’s return to his alma mater in OU.

Knoxville has had itself a weekend with these concerts paired with the latest win for the football team. It only made sense for it all to come together now for the last of shows tonight in Neyland.
