South Carolina transfer wide receiver Juice Wells has committed to Ole Miss, a source confirmed to On3. ESPN was the first to break the news Sunday afternoon.

One of the top wide receiver threats in the SEC of 2022, he pulled in 68 catches for 928 yards in his first year in the league. The 6-foot-1, 204-pound wideout dealt with injuries throughout this fall, playing in just two games and tallying three catches for 37 yards and a touchdown. The Rebels had emerged as a major player in his recruitment in the last 10 days.

Oregon, Texas and Tennessee were all schools vying to land Wells. But a trip last weekend to Ole Miss sealed the commitment. It’s a major pickup for Lane Kiffin’s offense, who will have quarterback Jaxon Dart back for another year. The Rebels have now added eight players through the portal.

Juice Wells started his collegiate career at James Madison, too, racking up 1,853 yards and 21 touchdowns in two seasons.
