Kamari Morales: North Carolina TE transfer commits to Boston College
Kamari Morales announced his transfer portal commitment to Boston College on Wednesday afternoon.
The former North Carolina tight end entered the transfer portal last week as a grad transfer. The former three-star recruit finished with 11 catches for 158 receiving yards this season with the Tar Heels. His best collegiate season came in 2022, when he finished with 358 receiving yards and four touchdown catches.
Boston College now adds a pass catcher with experience but also a blocker. A 6-foot-3, 250-pound tight end, Morales will be able to make an instant impact on the offensive side of the ball for BC, which returns quarterback Thomas Castellanos.
Coming out of Lincoln High School in Tallahassee, Florida, Kamari Morales was ranked as a three-star prospect and the No. 43 tight end in America in the 2019 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.
