Kamari Ramsey injury: USC DB limps off field vs. Wisconsin
The USC Trojans trailed the Wisconsin Badgers 21-10 in the third quarter of Saturday’s game. And they got some more bad news early in the third quarter, when defensive back Kamari Ramsey limped off after trying to make a tackle on a play. It looked like he was struggling to put weight on his left leg when he went to the sidelines.
Shortly after he went to the sidelines, CBS sideline reporter Jenny Dell updated Ramsey’s status. She said he was simply cramping up. Ramsey got some electrolytes in his system and jumped on the exercise bike.
He re-entered the game and made a huge tackle on fourth and short, giving the Trojans’ offense the ball back in the third quarter. Ramsey flew around the edge, made his way into the backfield, and was the first man to get the tackle. He also had a big hit right at the end of the third quarter.
The Trojans’ offensive attack took advantage of the opportunity. They marched down the field and scored a touchdown, after Miller Moss connected with Duce Robinson on an eight-yard touchdown catch.
Moss had a beautiful spin move in the fourth quarter on a critical fourth down play, putting the Trojans up 31-21 with 8:22 remaining in the game.

He finished with another excellent performance. He certainly earned it, dodging Wisconsin defenders in the pocket for much of the day on Saturday. Their defensive unit hurried Moss more than 14 times, forcing him to step up in the pocket to elude several Wisconsin players harassing him off the edge. Moss finished completing 30 of his 45 passes for 308 yards, while tossing in three touchdowns and an interception.
He also managed to tack on a rushing touchdown, spinning and juking Badger defenders in the open field.
USC got a critical stop late in the fourth quarter to make sure that the Badgers didn’t tack on another score, coming away with the 38-21 win. They ran out the final few minutes of the clock and came away with the victory, moving them to 3-1 on the 2024 campaign.
USC was trailing Wisconsin 21-10 at halftime, but they managed to turn around things in the second half. It was thanks to their defense and the savvy play of quarterback Miller Moss. They outscored the Badgers 28-0 in the second half, with the final score coming on a 55-yard pick six from Mason Cobb. That was pretty much the dagger for Wisconsin and the game was in hand.
