Four-star defensive lineman Kamarion Franklin of Lake Cormorant (MS) High will announce his college decision on August 19th.

The 6-foot-5, 265 pounder is down to the following: Tennessee, Miami, Auburn, Florida State, and Ole Miss.

Breaking down the finalists

Franklin quickly broke down what stands out about each of his top schools:

Tennessee-  They have a really good fan base. I like my relationship with Coach Heupel and Coach G. Coach Garner is known for being a great coach and putting guys in the league.

Miami- I’ve visited Miami a couple times this year and I enjoyed every time I have been there. I also like the opportunity to play for a Hall of famer!

Auburn- They came in late in my recruitment even with the new staff but they have shown me how much of a priority I am and earned their way to the top 5. Coach Garrett and I have a great relationship so that plays a good part too.

Florida State- FSU has been in the running for a long time and they kept showing how much of a priority I am Since Day 1.

Ole Miss- They of course have been recruiting me since Day 1. Since I was a 10th grader they’ve been showing me that I’m wanted and needed. Coach Joyner and I have a good relationship and I think Coach Golding being there is good for them and the defense.
