Calderon Scouting Report
“Samis Calderon has an excellent frame, projectable and lengthy with natural athleticism. He is newer to the game so his production is currently flashes. He has a good release on his jump shot, while needing to work on the consistency of his lower half. He moves very well, both explosive and fluid. With his size and natural athletic disposition, he has upside defensively. Right now he is a straight line driver off the bounce, would like to see in tighten and round out the handle. There is some upside there, he carries a good bit of intrigue with him. It might take some time, but he needs continued game reps. With the natural frame and athleticism along with the flashes of skill, the upside is very intriguing.” – On3’s Jamie Shaw
