5-star TE Linkon Cure talks official visit to Kansas

Goodland (Kan.) High On3 Industry five-star tight end Linkon Cure took his official visit to Kansas over the weekend as the Jayhawks aim to make a move for the state’s top prospect.
Cure has Kansas in his final four alongside Kansas State, Oregon and Texas A&M.
“My visit was amazing!” Cure said. “I loved everything about it and am very glad I did it!
“Some big takeaways were how much of an impact I can have going even farther than football which meant a lot!”
The 6-foot-4 1/2, 210-pound Cure is tabbed by On3 Industry as the nation’s No. 2 tight end and No. 28 prospect overall. He heads to Texas A&M this weekend ahead of trips to Oregon and Kansas State later in the month.

Cure also visited Kansas at the end of March.
“It was awesome!” Cure said at the time. “Everything catches my eye! The visit was full of meetings with many important people and they made it very worth my time! I really appreciate all the work they did to let me know I was a priority!”
Cure locked in the official because of the trip. His older brother Leyton is also transferring to Kansas from Fort Hays State and joins the team for next season as a tight end.
