WATCH: Kansas State fans troll Florida in blowout victory
In this year’s SEC/ Big 12 Challenge, the Florida Gators had to square off against one of the surprise teams this season, the Kansas State Wildcats. The Gators had to make the trip up to Manhattan, KS, for a Saturday evening showdown. And the Wildcats have made sure this trip was anything but pleasurable for Florida.
Kansas State has had a chokehold on this game from the opening tip. And then the second half, the Wildcats faithful decided to add a little insult to injury, mocking the Gators with their signature chop celebration.
Unfortunately for viewers of the game, this instance occurred during a commercial timeout. With Kansas State up 59-36 with just under five minutes to go in the game, the Wildcats fans sensing blood in the water celebrated their soon-to-be victory in epic trolling fashion. You can check out the Wildcats Gator chomp in the video below.

Kansas State crushes Florida in SEC/ Big 12 Challange
It was not much of a challenge for the No. 5 ranked Wildcats against the Gators. Kansas State attacked the heart of Florida’s defense from the opening tip, with drive after drive to the basket. And the Wildcats played some impressive defense in their own right, taking a 37-16 lead into the half. It was the usual cast of suspects leading Kansas State to victory on Saturday. Star guard Markquis Nowell finish the game with 13 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists. And star transfer forward Keyontae Johnson, in his first meeting against his former squad, finished the game with a double-double dropping 13 points and snagging 11 rebounds.
Kansas State climbs to 18-3 on the season, while Florida drops to 12-9. Up next for the Wildcats is a huge road matchup against their heated in-state rival, the Kansas Jayhawks. The Wildcats will be looking to prove that their victory over the Jayhawks wasn’t luck while sweeping the season series. That game is scheduled for a 7:00 P.M. CT tipoff on Jan 31.
