Kendrick Law injury update: Latest on Alabama WR's status vs. Vanderbilt on Thursday injury report
Alabama is fresh off of one of the biggest wins of the college football season as they head to Nashville to take on Vanderbilt this Saturday. A 2-2 Commodores team that’s looked improved this season and is coming off of a much-needed bye week.
The Crimson Tide secured a signature win in what many are calling the best college football game in recent history. Holding off the Georgia Bulldogs at home in a 41-34 gem that elevated Alabama to the No. 1 ranked team in the latest AP Poll.
Vanderbilt is coming off of their own respective SEC thriller two weeks ago that they were unfortunately on the losing end of. Falling to Missouri in a 30-27 double overtime loss after missing a field goal that would have sent the game into a third overtime period.
Availability is the best ability in football, and the health of both teams will be crucial heading into the matchup. An area that has impacted Vanderbilt more than Alabama so far this season with the injury bug biting the Commodores early this season.
Only two Crimson Tide players showed up on the Alabama injury report Wednesday compared to eight for Vanderbilt. Check out the official injury report for Thursday two days ahead of kickoff this weekend below.

Alabama has been absolutely dominant against Vanderbilt in recent history. Winning the last 23 matchups against the Commodores, with Vanderbilt’s last win in the series coming in 1984. A script that they’ll look to flip this weekend with an emphasis on slowing down true freshman phenom wide receiver Ryan Williams.
“We have to be aware of his opportunities to catch the deep ball,” Vanderbilt head coach Clark Lea said. “We have to play to a level of fundamental, technical efficiency. In the situation where we have a post player and a man defender, we got to have two guys that can vice the ball down… There’s going to be times in this game where it takes two guys and that’s okay. It’s just about how we train it this week in practice.”
Alabama and Vanderbilt kick off on Saturday at 4:15 p.m ET in a matchup airing on SEC Network and streaming on Fubo.
