Northwest Mississippi C.C. four-star cornerback Keshawn Davila has committed to Arkansas, he announced on Saturday.

The Tampa native chose the Razorbacks over UCLA and Virginia Tech.

The 6-foot-1, 165 pounder is the No. 2 overall junior college prospect and No. 1 CB this cycle, according to On3’s junior college rankings.

“It felt like home for real,” Davila told On3’s Chad Simmons. “My family really felt comfortable up there.”

Sam Pittman and the Hogs offered Davila at the end of October and got him to Fayetteville for an official visit last weekend. The 6-foot-1, 165-pounder is a welcomed addition to a 2025 recruiting class that ranks No. 29 in the nation, per the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

He has two interceptions this season — both pick-sixes. During his first season at NWCC, Davila played in nine games for the Rangers, totaling 35 tackles (21 solo), 14 assists, six TFLs, two interceptions, two pass breakups, one fumble recovery and a sack.

In the Sunshine State, he played at Hillsborough High, collecting 40 tackles, four sacks, and four tackles for loss as a senior in 2021. He was a Class of 2022 high school recruit and will have two years of eligibility left at the college level.

More on Arkansas’ 2025 recruiting class

Last week’s National Signing Day brought some good and some bad for the Razorbacks. Pittman and Co. signed 23 recruits, headlined by two four-stars.

Baxley (Ga.) Appling County four-star linebacker Tavion Wallace was pursued heavily by Georgia and Florida State down the stretch, but he inked with the Hogs and highlights the class as the No. 148 recruit and No. 15 LB this cycle.

“I never thought I would consider them in any way possible, but you know (defensive coordinator Travis Williams), that’s my dog and when I took my first OV out there I was like ‘it’s going to be nothing but country living,’ but when I went up there I fell in love with it,” Wallace told On3 ahead of his summer commitment.

On NSD, Arkansas flipped Long Beach (Calif.) Warren four-star quarterback Madden Iamaleava from UCLA. The younger brother of Tennessee QB Nico Iamaleava is the nation’s No. 24 QB in 2025. Madden is one of two QBs in the class alongside North Little Rock (Ark.) Conway three-star Grayson Wilson.

Along with Iamaleava, Warren three-star wide receiver Jace Brown also flipped from the Bruins to Arkansas. Houston Fort Bend Marshall three-star WR Ja’Kayden Ferguson also pledged on Dec. 4.

Other top signees in the class include: Hattiesburg (Miss.) three-star defensive lineman Kevin Oatis, Jackson (Miss.) Hartfield Academy three-star DL Reginald Vaughn, Terrell (Texas) three-star EDGE Keiundre Johnson and Mobile (Ala.) Faith Academy three-star EDGE Trent Sellers.
