4-star WR Keylen Adams names top four schools
Virginia Beach (Va.) Green Run four-star wide receiver Keylen Adams is down to four schools in his recruitment, he announced on Monday morning.
Among the contenders are: Penn State, Pittsburg, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.
Adams is the No. 142 overall prospect and No. 25 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 2 player in Virginia.
On3 rates Adams higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 120 overall prospect, No. 15 wide receiver and No. 3 player in Virginia.
The 6-foot, 175-pounder visited both the Nittany Lions and Hokies for their junior day events last month, and told BWI’s Ryan Snyder that he’s enjoying the recruiting process and doesn’t have a commitment timeline in place.

“It’s been pretty fun to me,” Adams said. “I’ve been traveling the country, scouting different schools to figure out where I want to spend the next four years of my life. They’re all business trips to me. Every school is different. Some schools have really good football teams, but their academics aren’t there. Other schools are the other way around. So, it’s been going good right now. I’ve enjoyed it.”
Adams currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $42K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
