Keyontae Johnson schedules third official visit
Florida grad transfer Keyontae Johnson will officially visit Nebraska on August 17, On3 has learned.
This visit will be Johnson’s third official. The 6-foot-6 wing visited Kansas State and Western Kentucky in July.
Johnson has not played a game since December 12, 2020, when he collapsed during a game due to a heart issue. At that point, Johnson was projected as a first-round NBA Draft pick.
Keyontae Johnson’s last full season at Florida was 2019-20, where he averaged 14.0 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.2 steals. Through his four games in 2020-21, Johnson averaged 16.0 points and shot 64.1 percent from the field.

As things stand now, expect a commitment to come within the next seven days, soon after he completes his visit to Nebraska. The four options are Memphis, Nebraska, Western Kentucky, and Kansas State. He does not currently have plans to visit Memphis; however, they are working to get him on campus prior to his commitment.
As things continue to progress, and anything new comes about, On3 will be sure to keep you up to date.
