KJ Greene is the 2024 On3 Consensus No. 69 player. The 6-foot-2 point guard averaged 8.6 points, 6.5 assists, and 2.2 to lead his Atlanta (GA) Pace Academy team to a 25-5 record as a sophomore.

The four-star has set his first official visit; to Georgetown on October 13.

Georgetown’s culture is one of the main things that sticks out to me as a player,” Greene told On3. “Many great players have gone there and went on to have very successful careers, and I like to see that in a school. Another thing that really sticks out is how they make me feel like a top priority. I’ve built a great relationship with Coach (Kevin) Nickelberry and Coach (Patrick) Ewing. They’re good, genuine people who give it to me straight, and I really do appreciate that.”

The point guard has steadily picked up offers playing up on the 17u Adidas 3SSB Circuit with Upward Stars. Greene claims 19 offers.

KJ Greene is in the process of setting up his second official visit to Harvard but has not finalized a date. He will stay busy this Fall with unofficial visits set to South Carolina (9/17), Ole Miss (9/24), Clemson (10/1), and Mississippi State (11/5).

Greene’s scouting report

KJ Greene is a true point guard. He has a strong frame and good length. Greene lacks top-end pop, but he plays with a great pace and gets to his spots in the half-court off the bounce. Greene is a good shooter, has good balance, and has a consistent release. Greene is a good passer and has touch off the bounce. He has a good middle game, a nice pull-up, and an assortment of floaters. The athleticism will be the only question, but the IQ and skill set make him one of the top point guards, in his class, in his region.
