Kyle Pitts reveals details of bet with Bijan Robinson for Texas at Florida game

Ahead of their Monday Night Football matchup with the Buffalo Bills, Kyle Pitts and Bijan Robinson have another important game to watch. Their alma maters will square off Saturday as Florida hosts Texas – and, of course, there’s a friendly bet in place.
Robinson starred for the Longhorns from 2020-22 before the Falcons drafted him No. 8 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft. Pitts, meanwhile, had a decorated career with the Gators from 2018-20 and became Atlanta’s No. 4 overall selection in 2021.
With the big stage on Monday night, Robinson will have to wear an Albert the Gator head if the Gators take down the Longhorns, Pitts said on The Paul Finebaum Show. He did not say what he would have to do if Texas wins the game, though.
“He’ll be putting on an Albert head, for sure,” Pitts said. “Monday night primetime. Bijan’ll be putting on an Albert head with a Kyle Pitts jersey. … This Monday night. We play the Bills. So primetime, all the cameras.”
In his third year out of Texas, Robinson has cemented himself as a key playmaker in the Falcons’ offense. He leads the franchise in both rushing and receiving yards with 314 yards on the ground to go with 270 in the air. He also has two touchdowns – one rushing and one receiving.
For his efforts, Robinson earned NFC Offensive Player of the Month as he leads the Atlanta offense. He also received some high praise from his head coach, Raheem Morris.

“He’s definitely the best player in football in my head,” Morris said, via the team website. “I don’t care, he’s unbelievable. I love the kid. I love everything about him. I love watching him with the ball. I love his confidence. I love his demeanor. I love his mindset. I love the leadership. I love everything about him.”
Kyle Pitts, meanwhile, is also an important part of the plan in Atlanta. He ranks third on the team in receiving behind Robinson and wide receiver Drake London, hauling in 20 receptions for 205 yards and a touchdown.
The hope was Pitts would find a way to have the long-awaited breakout season, five years after reaching the Pro Bowl and totaling 1,000 receiving yards as a rookie. Morris said he was optimistic during the season, but didn’t want to say too much and lead to even more hype.
“It’s kind of what we saw in the offseason,” Morris said, via The Athletic’s Josh Kendall. “No one really wanted to believe it. I was hesitant to even talk about it because you just wanted to let him go do it.”
