Labaron Philon, one of the top point guards in the class of 2024, has narrowed his list of schools down to four, he told On3. Moving forward, the 6-foot-3, 175-pound rising senior will consider Alabama, Cincinnati, Ole Miss, and Kansas.

Philon discusses each of his final four schools in an exclusive interview here (On3+).

The four-star guard has scheduled an official visit to Ole Miss (Sept. 15) and says he’s currently planning two more to Alabama and Cincinnati.

Philon initially committed to Auburn earlier this year before reopening his recruitment a couple of months later.

A native of Mobile, Ala., Philon is leaving the south to play his senior season at powerhouse Link Academy in Branson, Mo.

Philon Scouting Report

“Labaron Philon is a quick on quick lead guard. He has long arms and a projectable frame with wide shoulders. Philon has a quick handle that gets him into the paint. He can knock down a jump shot with three-point range and consistency. There is a confidence and a competitiveness with Philon. He needs to add strength as he has a slight frame. There is upside on the defensive end; he can move his feet guarding the ball and is quick to get into the passing lanes. There is a natural smoothness he has on the ball with an upside to continue getting better.” – On3’s Jamie Shaw
