The Big Ten and SEC have their options if they decide to expand further in conference realignment. Friday, Las Vegas oddsmakers weighed in on who could be next.

Bovada released odds for the next school to accept invitations to join the Big Ten or SEC. Notre Dame and Oregon are the heavy favorites to join the Big Ten at +150 each, while Clemson and Florida State lead the potential SEC targets at +250 apiece. Miami is close behind at +325.

Conference realignment dominoes started falling again last week when USC and UCLA announced their decisions to leave the Pac-12 for the Big Ten in 2024. The moves came less than one year after Oklahoma and Texas announced their intentions to leave the Big 12 for the SEC by 2025 — kicking off the realignment carousel.

The big wild card is Notre Dame, which has largely maintained its independent status over the years, only playing in the ACC during the 2020 COVID-19-impacted season. The Fighting Irish’s TV deal with NBC has been seen as a factor in the decision to remain independent, even as rumors swirl about potentially joining a conference. But Bovada seems to think there’s a chance Notre Dame ends up in a league — and the Big Ten looks like the No. 1 option.

Here’s the full list of odds to join the Big Ten or SEC, according to Bovada.
